Okay, I want to show you a lens that you need to have in your kit: a Canon 800mm. You may not need it, mainly because it’s massive and costs $13,000. Not cheap at all. But having an 800mm is amazing because you can get close to things you normally cannot – for example, the moon or being super close to the musicians on stage at a concert.
It’s breathtaking, and it’s kind of magical. And especially if you pair it with a doubler, this 800mm turns into 1600mm. Okay, but if you can’t afford this – $13,000 is a lot of money, and it took me a long time to save up – there is a budget-friendly option, and that’s this: the Canon 800mm RF f/11. So yes, $900 is not anything but compared to $13,000, it’s looking pretty good.
So I’ve gotten some great shots with the EF and RF lenses. Check them out right now.
